Wood is a natural material and can move, twist, bow, and crack as it dries which is beyond our control. However, we utilize our skills and expertise to minimize any potential degrade in the wood.

The length of time to dry wood varies. We will provide you with an estimated drying time calculation, but this is merely an estimate and may take longer or shorter depending on the moisture content, thickness and species. On average, drying time takes 7 to 10 days per inch of thickness.

In general, we dry wood to a moisture content of around 8%-10% unless otherwise requested.
